Background
I am the CEO of Girls Fight Back and founder of Outdoor Defense. After a career in TV production I now travel the world with my company spreading the message of safety, empowerment and how to live a limitless life to colleges, companies, military installations, outdoor groups and more. I got into this work because I wanted to be part of the solution to making the world a better place for everyone.
What I write about
I grew up in the desert and have loved the outdoors from my first time playing in the dirt. I’m naturally interested in backpacking and hiking and as a result, love testing out new gear!
About me
I’m an international speaker, self-defense expert, CEO and solo adventurer. I love to solo hike, camp and travel and love spreading empowerment education to others so they can do the same.
Why I care about what I do
The outdoors refuels my soul, connects me to my ancestors, and fills me with joy and childlike curiosity. I want to see as much of the world and the outdoors as I can. My connection to nature and to outdoor activities is not only my form of self-care, but it is an integral part of my daily life which is why I love helping people discover new activities and try new hobbies.
